Antibac Lamination - A Hygenic Print Solution

How does it work?

We are providing a lamination service using 'Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene' film with added antibacterial properties. But just what does 'antibacterial properties' really mean? In this case, it means small particles of silver ions.

Silver has long been known for its ability to fight bacteria and, by including it in this lamination, it can eliminate 99% of the bacteria cells that it comes into contact with on your print. All businesses need to be conscious of hygience and cleanliness and this service is perfect to do just that with your print items that are touched by multiple customers or employees.  We'll also print that the document has been protected with antibac lamination.

What print items can be coated with Antibac?

  • Menus
  • Flyers
  • Leaflets
  • Tent Cards
  • Table Talkers
  • Business Cards

What will it do to the 'finish' of my print?

A laminated finish makes print feel much more professional and will help to enforce a strong and quality brand image. This laminate is biaxially orientated which means the polymer is stretched in two directions instead of one and the end result is an incredibly clear, glossy finish.

How long will it last for?

The great thing about this lamination is that it doesn't wear out, or lose effectiveness. Its antibacterial properties are integral to the laminate itself and have no shelf life. So, as long as your print is laminated, it will be protected from harmful bacteria.

It's important to still wipe over your printed document each day but with the added confidence that it's still fully protected for future use and you won't damage the artwork by giving it a wipe.
